Active Aerospace has been approved as a provider of training by Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC), a branch of the Federal Government. This program will allow qualified candidates seeking employment in the airline industry to receive funding for initial conversion courses. As well, Active Aerospace has designed a comprehensive program to provide a method for pilots to maintain their qualifications during periods of furlough.

In its continuing commitment to provide airline quality training to prospective pilots, Active has obtained this approval under the Public and Post Secondary Education funding programs already in place through HRDC. PPSEC institutions are scrutinized and approved to receive this funding as part of the Federal Government's ongoing commitment to Canadians seeking to improve their marketability as employees.

In order to determine if you are qualified under this program, you need to speak with career counsellors who can be found at HRDC regional offices throughout Canada. Individuals must apply on their own behalf to the program for funding. Active will provide each prospective candidate with a Letter of Acceptance, detailing the course material, time frames, and the cost. To obtain this document, contact Active Aerospace directly.

Available courses include initial type ratings on Boeing 757/767, Airbus A319, 320, 321, 330 and 340, Boeing 737 and many other types of aircraft. If you have an inquiry about a specific type rating, including all business jets, turboprops and other fixed wing aircraft requiring a type endorsement, just contact Active Aerospace for details.
